Blue Honda Wheel Arch Scratch Repair | Colourworld Auto Finish Geelong
REAL AUTO FINISH WORK · SCRATCH & PLASTIC TRIM REPAIR
This dark-blue Honda SUV had visible scraping along the painted wheel-arch area and the black plastic moulding. Polishing could not replace missing paint or restore scuffed plastic, so the job required a considered local repair and refinish rather than an aggressive machine polish.
Before: damage in two different materials.
The painted panel and the textured black arch moulding needed different preparation and repair approaches. We assessed the affected areas separately before refinishing them.

After: the actual repaired wheel arch.
The finished photos show the wheel-arch area after the repair, in ordinary light. A localised repair can improve appearance significantly, but exact colour, texture and visibility depend on the substrate and damage. We explain those limits when quoting.
Does your scrape need polishing or paintwork?
Some light marks can be safely polished. Deeper scratches and missing colour generally need refinishing. Scuffed plastic needs its own assessment rather than being treated like the painted panel. See our scratch and bumper repair service and the repair-versus-polish guide.
